01

Identify the device and its owner

Write down the customer contact and the device model. Add an IMEI or serial number only when it is necessary for the job and appropriate to retain. Never ask for a device passcode unless your repair process truly requires it, and never store it in a general job note.

02

Separate the reported issue from the diagnosis

Capture what the customer says is wrong and the condition observed at intake. Keep those notes separate from a technician’s later diagnosis, estimate or completed repair so the record stays clear.

03

Follow the repair and close the job

Use the available job status to show whether work is waiting, underway or complete. Record the agreed amount and any payment received against the job. A Biashara payment entry is a business record, not confirmation from a mobile-money provider.
